President’s Welcome
Sara Rossmann, BSRT, R.T(R)
It is with deep gratitude and excitement that I step into the role of incoming President of the Wisconsin Society of Radiologic Technologists. Becoming part of this leadership journey is truly an honor, and I am humbled to serve a community of professionals who give so much of themselves every day.
Radiologic technologists are at the heart of patient care — often the first to offer reassurance, the steady presence during uncertainty, and the skilled hands behind the images that guide diagnosis and healing. Our work is meaningful, and the compassion we show matters. As I begin this term, my goal is to reflect that spirit of support, kindness, and connection throughout everything we do as a society.
This year, I want WSRT to be a place where:
- Every technologist feels seen and valued, no matter their modality or stage of their career.
- Students feel welcomed, encouraged, and inspired, knowing they belong here and have a strong future ahead.
- Our members feel supported, with opportunities for education, advocacy, and professional growth.
- We strengthen our sense of community, lifting each other up, sharing our passion for imaging, and celebrating our collective impact on healthcare.
I am committed to fostering a warm, collaborative environment where voices are heard, ideas are invited, and members feel connected across the state. Together, we will continue to advance our profession, support one another, and create opportunities that help us all grow.
To our members: thank you for your dedication, your expertise, and the compassionate care you provide every day. To our students: you are the future of our profession, and we are so glad you are here. To our leaders, educators, and mentors: your guidance shapes the technologists of tomorrow, and your commitment strengthens our entire community.
I look forward to serving you, supporting you, and growing alongside you in the year ahead. Together, we can make 2026–2027 a year defined by connection, encouragement, and pride in the profession we love.
